Gina McSweeney Art

Gina McSweeney studied Fine Art at Winchester School of Art and Leeds University.

Her current paintings are drawn from personal experience be it trying to capture the changing light falling through silver birches on Wimbledon Common, or her family and friends interacting with each other and moving through much loved landscapes. At the heart of her paintings is a preoccupation with light which she uses together with colour to capture the ‘feeling’ of a particular moment.

Tutoring Gina also runs art classes for both children aged 8-18 and adults. These are run in small groups and explore the principals of Fine Art through a range of mediums
